Guest: Mr Amir Hasan

Date of interview: 18 January 2019

On 18th January 2019, I met with a person who is an institution itself, Mr Amir Hasan. To me, he is the best example of a successful person. Let’s discuss his view regarding SUCCESS. Highlights of his life in his own words.

In this world where everyone wants to become a successful person, I am quite sure that there are very few among all the people who are really passionate, focused, devoted and ready to do whatever it takes to achieve their goals or whatever they want to be, simply they know what SUCCESS is. Here the question arises if everyone wants to be successful, so why all of them are not able to succeed in life or achieve what they really want from life? Let’s discuss some of the main highlights of this interview and try to understand what SUCCESS really is or what SUCCESS should mean to everyone.

Before this interview, I believed that success is achieving what you desired. But as of now, I have realised that success is not just achieving what you desired but sharing with others what you achieve in your life. In simple words, success is GIVING BACK TO SOCIETY! As quoted by Mr Amir:

“ Act of giving back to society and helping others is always beneficial for both the society and a person itself “

Following the interview, I had a discussion with Mr Amir and that discussion totally changed my mind. He gave me a thought process that made me feel realise that for sure money, fame and achieving what you desired is just the beginning and the first step towards the road to success, rather the end of a story.

What important is that a person must strive to help others and try to pull at least one person so that the climax of his life should get the end into the best possible fashion. In the context of this thought, the success to me is now to help others and make them realise that they are important to us as well as to the whole society and we do stand beside them no matter what happens. Mr Amir said:

“ Everything that you own and possess has to be shared among the society and everyone around you has the stake and share of what you own “

To, conclude, I request to all of the readers that they should also try to make others happy by doing whatever they can do or at least Spread Smiles!  on their faces to make them feel happy and then you will feel the true happiness of success within you. Now if someone asks me what success means to you, I would reply that:

“ Success is all about sharing with others and making others feel special for whatever they do and whoever they are “

An initiative of the Shanakht Project (CPLC)

The Shanakht project is an initiative launched by the Citizen-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) Karachi in Pakistan to help law enforcement agencies identify and track down criminals. The project was launched in 2013 and has since been successfully implemented in Karachi.

The objective of the Shanakht project is to create a database of citizens residing in Karachi that contains their biometric data, including fingerprints, photographs, and other relevant information. This information is then shared with law enforcement agencies to help them identify suspects and criminals.

Under this project, the CPLC Karachi has set up registration centres throughout the city where citizens can go and register themselves. The registration process is free of cost and requires the individual to provide their biometric data and other personal information.

The information collected during the registration process is kept confidential and is only shared with law enforcement agencies on a need-to-know basis. The Shanakht project has been successful in helping law enforcement agencies solve crimes and apprehends suspects.

Overall, the Shanakht project is a commendable initiative by the CPLC Karachi that has helped improve the security situation in the city. It is a great example of how technology can be used to combat crime and improve public safety. Mr Amir Hasan is an active chief of the Shanakht Project.
